Community Guidelines

Zero Tolerance: Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

The following are strictly prohibited on Riishta:

• Sharing, distributing, soliciting, or possessing Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) in any format — including images, videos, text, or AI-generated content.
• Grooming or attempting to establish relationships with minors for sexual purposes.
• Soliciting sexual imagery, acts, or conversations from or involving minors.
• Facilitating child trafficking or exploitation in any form.
• Sextortion or blackmail involving minors.
• Creating accounts for, or on behalf of, anyone under the age of 18.
• Any content that sexualizes, depicts, or involves minors in a sexual context.
• Promoting, glorifying, or normalizing sexual abuse of children.

All confirmed CSAM is immediately removed and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant Indian authorities including the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C). For our full child safety policy, visit riishta.com/child-safety.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Riishta. Males must be at least 21 at registration.
• Riishta is exclusively for adults. Minors are not permitted under any circumstances.
• You must create an account in your own name and not impersonate anyone else.
• You must not have convictions for violent crimes, sexual offences, hate crimes, or terrorism.

2. Respectful Behavior

• Be respectful in all interactions. Treat others the way you would want to be treated.
• No harassment or bullying: Persistent unwanted contact, intimidation, threats, or abusive language is prohibited.
• No hate speech: Content attacking individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic is prohibited.
• No discrimination: While you may have preferences for a partner, expressing these in a demeaning or hateful way is not acceptable.
• Accept rejection gracefully: If someone is not interested, respect their decision.

3. Honesty and Authenticity

• Be truthful: Provide accurate information in your profile, including photos, age, occupation, and other details.
• No impersonation: Do not create accounts pretending to be someone else.
• No fake profiles: Accounts must represent real individuals genuinely seeking a partner.
• Use your own photos: Profile pictures must be of you. Using others' photos is grounds for removal.

4. Safety and Security

• No threats of violence: Threats of physical harm to any person are strictly prohibited and will be reported to authorities.
• No stalking: Following, tracking, or monitoring someone without their consent is prohibited.
• No doxxing: Sharing someone's personal information without their consent is prohibited.
• No self-harm encouragement: Content encouraging self-harm or suicide is prohibited.
• Report concerns: If you see something that concerns you, report it immediately using our in-app reporting tools.

5. Prohibited Content

• No sexual exploitation content: This includes CSAM, non-consensual intimate imagery, and any content depicting sexual violence.
• No illegal content: Content promoting illegal activities is prohibited.
• No spam or commercial solicitation: Do not use Riishta for advertising, soliciting money, investments, or off-platform payments.
• No malware or phishing: Do not share malicious links or attempt to deceive users into providing sensitive information.
• No graphic violence: Content depicting extreme violence or gore is prohibited.

6. Financial Safety

• No financial solicitation: Asking other members for money, financial assistance, loans, or investments is strictly prohibited.
• No scams: Any form of romance scam, advance-fee fraud, or financial deception will result in immediate account termination and reporting to authorities.
• No off-platform payment requests: Directing users to external payment platforms or requesting financial transactions is prohibited.

7. Reporting Violations

We encourage all users to report violations of these guidelines. You can report issues through:

• In-app reporting: Use the "Report" feature available on user profiles and in conversations.
• Child safety reports: Use the dedicated "Report Child Abuse" feature in the app menu for any concerns about child safety.
• Email: Contact support@riishta.com for general reports.
• Child safety email: Contact childsafety@riishta.com for child safety concerns.

All reports are reviewed by our Safety Team. Reports involving child safety are treated with the highest priority and urgency. False reports may result in account action.

8. Enforcement

Violations of these Community Guidelines may result in:

• Content removal
• Warning for minor or first-time violations
• Temporary suspension of account access
• Permanent ban from all Riishta services
• Reporting to law enforcement where illegal activity is suspected

CSAE violations always result in immediate permanent ban and reporting to law enforcement — no warnings are issued for these violations.
