Welcome to Riishta, India’s intelligent matchmaking platform.

1.2

These terms of use (the “Terms”) tell you the terms on which you may use the Riishta website at https://Riishta.com (the “Site”), the Riishta app (the “App”), and the products, services, and content available from them. They also apply to any purchases you make on our Site or App. In these Terms, we refer collectively to the Site, the App, and the content, products, and services available from them as “Riishta”.

These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

There may be other terms or rules that apply to specific products or services on Riishta. We will inform you of these before you purchase or use them. These additional terms form part of these Terms unless they are third-party terms that create a direct contract between you and the third party.

4. HOW WE WILL CONTACT YOU

We will usually contact you via the email associated with your account or through in-app notifications.

You must notify us promptly if your contact details change.

5. THESE TERMS OF USE

5.1

By using Riishta, you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, you must not use Riishta. You may wish to print a copy for your records.

5.2

These Terms are always available on our website. You should review them regularly.

6. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS OF USE

6.1

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are significant, we may notify you by email. Changes to paid subscriptions take effect only after your current subscription period ends.

6.2

If you do not agree to any changes, you may request account closure under paragraph 19.

6.3

Continued use of Riishta after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.

7. CONDITIONS OF ACCESS TO RIISHTA

7.1

To use Riishta, you must:

Be at least 18 years old

If male, be at least 21 years old at registration

Not be barred from using Riishta under applicable laws

Not have convictions for hate crimes, terrorism, violent or sexual offences

Register an account in your own name

Riishta is intended exclusively for adults seeking matrimonial or relationship-based connections and is not designed for or marketed to minors.

7.2

Riishta may only be used for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7.3

Access to content is subject to compliance with these Terms and the Community Rules.

7.4

Use of Riishta requires compliance with App Store or Play Store technical requirements.

7.5

You are responsible for arranging access to Riishta.

8. CREATING AN ACCOUNT

8.1

Accounts may be created using email or third-party services such as Google, Apple ID, or Facebook.

8.2

When using email, you must be the sole owner of the email and mobile number provided.

8.3

When using third-party accounts, you confirm age verification and accuracy of information.

8.4

You must keep your account information accurate and up to date.

8.5

You are responsible for all activity on your account and must report unauthorised use immediately.

8.6

You may not create an account for another person.

9. PURCHASES

Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store are managed by the respective platform. Riishta does not control billing cycles, refunds, or cancellations processed by Apple or Google. Refund requests must be submitted directly through the App Store or Play Store in accordance with their policies.

9.1

Riishta Products may be available via one-time purchases or subscriptions.

9.2

Additional purchase terms may apply and will be disclosed at checkout.

9.3

Prices include applicable taxes and may change prospectively.

9.4

Payments may be made via Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay, App Store, or Play Store.

9.5

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled.

9.6

By purchasing a subscription, you authorise recurring payments. Renewal notices will be sent prior to renewal.

9.7

Cancellations take effect at the end of the current subscription period with no refunds.

10. COOLING-OFF AND CANCELLATION

10.1

All purchases are final. This policy applies regardless of usage, engagement, matches, or outcomes achieved on the platform.

10.2

You cannot cancel digital content once used or subscriptions once started.

10.3

Cancellation must be done via the payment provider.

10.4

Access continues until the end of the paid period.

11. USER CONTENT

User Content includes any content you post, upload, or share on Riishta.

You retain ownership of your content but grant Riishta a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free licence to use it in connection with the Services.

You are solely responsible for your content.

12. COMMUNITY RULES

You agree to comply with all Behaviour and Safety Guidelines and not engage in prohibited conduct, including harassment, fraud, impersonation, illegal activity, or harmful content.

We reserve the right to moderate, remove, or restrict access to content and accounts that violate these rules. Riishta maintains zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material, exploitation, trafficking, impersonation, or threats of violence and will permanently remove accounts involved in such activity. Any attempt to solicit money, financial assistance, investments, or off-platform payments from other members may result in immediate account termination.

13. NOTIFICATION

You may report content violations via the App or by emailing support@Riishta.com .

14. OUR RIGHTS IN RIISHTA

All intellectual property rights in Riishta belong to us or our licensors.

Content may only be used for personal, non-commercial purposes with attribution.

15. RIGHTS AND TERMS FOR APPS

We grant a limited, non-transferable licence to use the App.

Apple App Store specific terms apply where relevant.

16. CHANGES TO RIISHTA

We may update or modify Riishta to comply with laws, improve features, or discontinue unpopular services.

17. WITHDRAWAL OF RIISHTA

We may stop providing Riishta with reasonable notice where you are not at fault.

18. RESTRICTING OR ENDING ACCESS

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations or business reasons.

19. SUSPENSION OF SERVICES

Temporary suspension may occur for updates, maintenance, or legal compliance.

20. CLOSING YOUR ACCOUNT

Accounts may be closed via email or in-app settings. Subscriptions must also be cancelled separately. Account deletion requests are processed without undue delay and are irreversible once completed, subject to legal retention obligations described in the Privacy Policy.

21. CONSEQUENCES OF ACCOUNT CLOSURE

Access, matches, and purchases will be lost. Data will be deleted or archived as required by law.
