Riishta respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our website, mobile application, and related services (the “Platform”). By using the Platform, you consent to this Policy.

  • Account & Profile Information: name, email, phone, date of birth, gender, city/state/country, education and preferences, photos, and other details you choose to provide.
  • Usage & Device Data: IP address, user-agent, device identifiers, pages visited, actions taken, timestamps, and cookies or similar technologies.
  • Communications: messages, support requests, and contact preferences.
  • Payments: plan selection, UPI details provided for verification (e.g., UTR), and related payment metadata. We do not store full payment credentials in our systems.

2. How We Use Information

  • Provide, operate and improve the Platform and member matching features.
  • Verify member identities and payment submissions, prevent fraud, enhance security.
  • Send service, security and product updates, and, where permitted, marketing communications by email, SMS, WhatsApp or phone.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. Legal Basis & Consent

We process your data based on your consent, to perform our contract with you (Terms of Service), our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Platform, and to comply with applicable laws. You may withdraw consent where applicable; however, doing so may affect your use of certain features.

  • With service providers (e.g., hosting, analytics, email delivery, cloud storage) under appropriate safeguards.
  • With law enforcement or regulators where required by law or to protect rights and safety.
  • With other members as part of normal Platform use according to your profile visibility and actions.

The Platform is intended for adults 18+ only (21+ where applicable). We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
